How many widgets do you have on your blog? I have a couple, but think there are a lot out there that are cool, beneficial, and are liked by others. As I look around at the various blogs I read, I notice a lot of widgets serving different purposes. Some are a little more educational than others. Some are simply entertaining.

Here's my question - what's your favorite widget? Please leave a comment and a link to where the widget can be found. I'd like to see if we could put together a nice little list of recommended widgets!

Um, widgets might be defined a little differently in Blogger than they are in WordPress, which is what I use. Over there, widgets are just the drag-and-drop side bar elements that are used to show previous posts, other links, archives, etc...You can also install a few as 'plugins' from 3rd party sources. I guess my most helpful plugin is the Akismet spam blocker.

PS I see you don't allow comments from non-Blogger accounts! Just my opinion, but I think you limit your comments that way. You might be turning away potential commenters (and readers) who might otherwise want to leave you a note. Just a thought!
